I think this is kind of a blast from the past; I think it was discussed long ago, but I haven't seen anything recently on the topic.
I have a Pi 3B that I use every day and it is fine. It is powered by an "Official" power supply, and is hooked up to HDMI, keyboard and mouse. The board is sitting on the floor of my workroom without a case, just the bare board. There are several things (including an SSD) hooked to the USB ports.
I wanted to change the ethernet connection today, so I unplugged the old cable and plugged in a new one. While handling the board (booted up and powered on, of course), I noticed a bit of a tingle - basically, I think when I touch the (metal) ethernet jack on the board. I was able to get the new ethernet cable plugged in and everything is fine, but I did find it strange.
What causes this and is there any fix? (Besides powering things off before messing with it, and/or putting the board in a case)
