General discussion • Problem Booting up for the first time

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up my Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) but I'm facing boot issues. When I power it on, I see the following messages:

"Failed to open device: 'sdcard'"
"SD card not detected"
"MSD error [01:00] 2.00 000000:01 error 2"
"LUN 0 timeout 3000 ms"
It looks like my Pi is trying to boot via USB (USB-MSD mode), but it's not detecting my SD card.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
Checked my power supply (official Raspberry Pi USB-PD 5000mA).
Verified the SD card slot for any dust or damage.
Despite these, the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this? Any advice on how to troubleshoot further?
