Attemps to staring boot again
I tried with usb boot, sd boot, network boot, rpi-boot-eeprom-recovery-2020-09-03-vl805-000138a1-sd, but nothing works.
Can you help me to know if this budy is already dead or exist a way to make it works again?
I tried to read all the topics about issues trying to update eeprom, but none of the cases that I identified talks about my rp4b 8g case.
Setup
Raspberry pi 4b 8g
Original power supply
microsd kingstown canvas go plus V30 64G.
-My rp4b It was working very well with the microsd card, but I was trying to use a old 120gb ssd that was working very well on other pc but I replaced it for a new big capacity one.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
I tried to follow a tutorial instructions but when I tried to do this step
4. sudo rpi-eeprom-update -d -f /lib/firmware/raspberrypi/bootloader/stable/pieeprom-2020-07-16.bin
I did found that my rp4b hasn´t the same folders, instead it has 2 folders I don´t remember very well but was like bootloader101 and bootloader102. I did get into the bootloader101 folder and edit the stable/pieeprom-2020-07-16.bin file
After this I did reboot but since then I just see a solid red light and not starting boot with anything.
Tutorial instructions link: https://www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2020/ ... -4-usb-ssd
I hope you can help me guys.
