I am currently in the planning stages of developing a home automation system that integrates various sensors and actuators to monitor and control devices in my home. I plan to use Raspberry Pi as the central hub for this system, leveraging its versatility and affordability.
Specifically, I am interested in recommendations for sensors and actuators that are compatible with Raspberry Pi and suitable for monitoring temperature, humidity, light levels, and controlling appliances such as lights and fans. I would also appreciate any advice on software and programming languages that are commonly used for IoT projects with Raspberry Pi.
